Le premier meurtre

«Adam connut Eve, sa femme; elle conçut, et enfanta Caïn et Abel. Caïn fit à l`éternel une offrande des fruits de la terre; et Abel, de son côté, en fit une des premiers-nés de son troupeau. L’éternel porta un regard favorable sur Abel et sur son offrande; mais pas sur Caïn. Il en fut très irrité. Comme ils étaient dans les champs, Caïn se jeta sur son frère Abel, et le tua. Et Dieu dit: Qu`as-tu fait? La voix du sang de ton frère crie de la terre jusqu`à moi.»

The first murder

«Adam knew his wife Eve; she conceived, and gave birth to Cain and Abel. Inferno est le club très privé des hommes ayant tués d'autres hommes. Peux importe leurs raisons ou motivations, seul l'acte compte. Ils sont les spectateurs d'un match de boxe

ou l'odeur du sang règne en maître et la Mort trône entourée de jolies filles. De Adolphe Hitler à Marc Dutroux en passant par le Klu Klux Klan, Bonnie & Clyde, Jacques l'éventreur, Carlos, Sadam Hussein, Gilles de Ray, ... on en passe, et pas des 'meilleurs'. Ils sont plus de 300 à nous rappeler que l'homme est un prédateur et la société son terrain de chasse.

Inferno is the very private humans club having killed other humans. Does not mattertheir reasons or motivations, only the act counts.They are the spectators of a boxing match where the smell of blood reigns supreme and Death throne surrounded by pretty girls. From Adolphe Hitler to Marc Dutroux, the Klu Klux Klan, Bonnie & Clyde, Jacques the Ripper, Carlos, Sadam Hussein, Gilles de Ray, ... There are more than 500 to remind us that man is a predator and society its hunting ground.

Il 'fight club' di Racasse

Una serata di gran galà, tra arte e eclettica mondanità, organizzata all’nterno della galleria Campari per ospitare la prima edizione del premio Art gallery tra fotografi, artisti, giornalisti e personaggi stravaganti: Michelangelo Tagliaferri, fondatore dell’Accademia di comunicazione, Lia Luzzatto, consulente, Paola Baravalle, Patrizia Rossi e molti altri.

Con l’opera intitolata Inferno Lucas Racasse (1969, Bruxelles) è stato eletto vincitore. Questo lavoro raffigura un incontro di box all’interno di un Fight club, nel quale possono entrare solo coloro che hanno commesso un omicidio. È un club d'élite dove si combatte un match all’ultimo sangue. Osservando tra il pubblico, si riconoscono personaggi storici, come Napoleone e Stalin mentre proprio Adolf Hitler arbitra la contesa. In questo quadro si possono comprendere le tematiche che hanno spinto Racasse a creare servendosi di una semantica artistica scioccante e horror. Disegnando personaggi celebri racconta una storia irreale, anche se solo apparentemente. L’artista, riferendosi a tutte le sue opere in mostra, afferma: «Le motivazioni dei miei lavori artistici rispecchiano il mio interesse verso il mondo in azione; guardo il mondo reale attraverso un prisma e lo rappresento. C’è un po’ di religione, un po’ di politica, un po’ di pornografia. Sembra finto ma in fondo è la realtà di oggi. Mi piacerebbe raccontare attraverso le mie opere ciò che vedo in metrò, in televisione. La mia passione è provare a esprimere quello che mi sciocca ogni giorno».

In questa esibizione svariate opere faranno riflettere gli osservatori, poiché attraversandole con lo sgurado, si toccheranno tanti argomenti. Racasse ha iniziato la sua carriera molto giovane, a quattordici anni. I suoi genitori erano preoccupati per il suo futuro ma poi hanno capito che i suoi disegni rappresentavano il linguaggio con cui si esprimeva. Poteva parlare sia d’amore che di violenza attraverso le sue opere.
