CHEVROLET — COMMUNIQUÉ DE PRESSE | 14.12.2010 « Nous sommes champion du monde WTCC à deux reprises en 2010 : constructeurs et pilotes. Afin de fêter cela comme il se doit, il fut décidé de consacrer le nouveau calendrier à ces prestations tout en lui donnant un cachet spécial. C’est pourquoi il a été demandé à un artiste contemporain, Lucas Racasse, de donner vie au sport automobile. Il était important de le laisser totalement libre dans la création de ce calendrier (...). ‘Sur base d’une collection de plus de 5000 photos de la dernière saison du WTCC, j’ai tenté de donner vie à l’univers de la course en douze images. Une par mois. La magie du sport, les situations propres aux courses telles que les conditions météorologiques et les configurations des circuits, l’ambiance et l’émotion qui règnent lors de ces compétitions, sont souvent très intenses. Au final, faire de la course, c’est le travail de toute une équipe derrière ses pilotes, et ça aussi, il fallait qu’on le ressente. Un rêves de petit garçon. » nous explique-t-il. (...) CHEVROLET - PRESS RELEASE | 14.12.2010 "We are two-time WTCC world champions in 2010: manufacturers and drivers. In order to celebrate this, it was decided to dedicate the new calendar to these performances while giving it a special touch. That's why a contemporary artist, Lucas Racasse, was asked to give life to the motor sport. It was important to give him total freedom in the creation of this calendar (...).
